In July 2023, Cornwall, NY, experienced one of the most severe storms in recent memory, causing extensive damage to the area, including major flooding and road destruction. The storm led to millions of dollars in damages, leaving many homes and infrastructure in need of significant repair. The urgency of the situation prompted me to hike 2.8 miles to the hardest-hit areas, where I spent hours exploring and capturing the devastation. The journey back was just as intense, racing against time to return home and process the images.

They not only document the physical destruction but also capture the resilience of the people in Cornwall.
