The Icons from The Hudson Valley, NY
The Hudson Valley is rich with history and natural beauty, and my goal with this album was to capture its most iconic landmarks in a way that honors their significance. Bannerman's Island, with its mysterious ruins and rich past, has always fascinated me. The crumbling fortress rising from the river feels like a portal to another time, and I wanted to capture that sense of history and intrigue in my work.
The Red Bridge in Cornwall, often overlooked, is a staple of the community. Its vibrant color and unique angle are emblematic of the area, and it has quietly stood as a symbol of the town for years. The shot I captured emphasizes the bridge’s bold color against the natural surroundings, highlighting its importance while also showcasing the often unnoticed beauty in everyday scenes.
These images, along with others in the Hudson Valley Album, are my tribute to a region that holds a deep place in my heart. Through these photographs, I aim to share the stories and emotions that these landmarks evoke, inviting viewers to see the Hudson Valley through my eyes.
